Your Newest City Gym Managers!

Hailee Bland-Walsh, City Gym Owner

Dear City Gym Family-

I wanted to make a formal announcement to share that Laura Davlantes, the Fitness and Wellness Manager, recently resigned from her position. Laura played a critical role in the success of City Gym during her tenure and we are incredibly grateful for her endless enthusiasm and loving support of the fitness department. We will miss her terribly and we are excited for her new adventures! Replacing her are two of City Gym's finest staff persons!

Ian Campbell will be serving as the Group Fitness Manager. His role includes administrative support, staff training, program development and implementation for all group fitness programming. That includes developing new formats, supporting our incredible instructor team, teaching a few classes, and creating the group fitness schedule.

Ian has been with City Gym since the day it opened, seven years ago. Ian is a former Division I collegiate athlete and has been a highly successful personal trainer and group fitness instructor for seven years. Ian is smart, thoughtful, incredibly hardworking, and a phenomenal trainer and group fitness instructor. We are thrilled to have his expertise as a fitness professional along with his steady leadership. Join me in welcoming Ian to a leadership role.

Josh Guffey will be serving as the Personal Training Manager. His role includes administrative support, staff training, programming development and implementation for all personal training. This includes supporting our amazing personal training team and their clients along with continuing to train clients of his own. Josh is an Exercise Science major from Kansas State University with nearly 15 years of industry experience. He too has worked at City Gym since the day it opened seven years ago. Josh is a brilliant personal trainer who is known for helping his clients achieve their goals while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. We are thrilled to have his incredible leadership and industry experience to lead and support our team of exceptional personal trainers.

Change is hard, even good change. We will miss Laura mightily, but Josh and Ian have stepped into their new roles without missing a beat! We can all look forward to continuing to experience the high-quality product we have all come to expect. You can rest assured nothing will slip by these two! Join me in welcoming Josh and Ian to the leadership team. We all are eager to continue to make City Gym the best gym in Kansas City (and beyond!) As always, thanks for your support!
