Technique Classes: Cycling, Striking & Rowing

We're Excited to Announce Technique Classes!
Have you ever wanted to learn the fundamentals of our more specialized group classes? In the coming weeks, we will offer technique classes to educate members on the fundamentals of some of our hottest classes. We don't want intimidation to stand in the way of our members learning a new skill or discovering a new passion! There will be limited space in these classes and they must be booked using Mindbody (standard booking window applies). Classes last 45 minutes.
Cycle Technique -Saturday, February 22nd @ 10:30am 
Have you wanted to learn more about our Spin classes? This 45-minute session is for you! The instructor will go over bike set-up, the bike computer, technique and the three different class formats we offer at City Gym. We will cycle through what an Endurance, Strength and Interval class feels like. You will be riding the bike during the instruction. This isn't a full spin class but you might sweat a little! This class is open to all fitness levels and cycling shoes are not required.

City Strike Technique -Saturday, February 29th @ 11:15am
City Strike Technique will teach you the basic boxing fundamentals and vocabulary used during City Strike classes. Combinations, footwork and basic principles will be taught in this small group class format. This class is solely technique and not an intense workout.
This technique class is open to all fitness levels and does require wraps, which can be purchased at the front desk for $10.

Rowing Technique -Saturday, March 7th @ 10:15am
Join us for a technique-driven class that will focus on one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in the gym - the rower. We will address rowing technique, how to adjust settings for your workout and sample workout routines. This class is open to all fitness levels.
